  what sort of numb-nuts no-brain hypocrite with no moral sense could consider ever even giving tacit support to these idiots by just seeming to return ?

  So what you're saying is that maybe I should cancel my plans to go crawling back to the KH next week promising to believe any lies they want me to believe and tell any lies they want me to tell? (being sarcastic)

  You couldn't have said it better. When I left I basically said F**k it. I've don't believe this crap so I have to leave. If I can work it out with my wife her family fine. If not so be it. I'm not going to live a lie just to keep the peace. "To thine own self be true" If you don't have that what do you have left? Who are you?

  Christmas weekend with the JWs

  i have been married 10 years and i have been with my family and the non-jw in laws for christmas.

  this year the hubby asked me to go to a resort with a bunch of jws over the christmas week.

  maybe it was not the best idea, but i love my hubby and thought once might not be too bad.

  It might work out ok for you because they will be on their best behavior in front of you because they want to lure you in. Now if you were a former JW like most of us it would be different. They would probably make asses out of themselves by ignoring you the whole time because that is how their god the Watchtower tells them to act. Personally spending Christmas with a bunch of JWs would ruin it for me. I don't know what to compare it to. Maybe a weekend in Vegas with the Almish.

  No matter how much they may pretend to accept you, they really don't. They're hoping to love bomb you into accepting their beliefs.

  Another Bad Witness - Elder School on Christmas Day?

  had a brief conversation with by jw father a few days ago, unfortunately still an uber witness and as a cboe he has nothing else in his life.. he brought out that he was getting ready for the elders school.

  not sure if he was bragging or wanted sympathy for having to go.

  lol.. i didn't press him on the details, though i wanted to ask if they would be covering all 7 chapters in the new manual on how to df people.

  I would think this would be bad luck for the hotel staff to have these Scrooges meeting there over Christmas. A lot people get into the spirit of Christmas and tip better at Christmastime. However these are not those people.

  Will jws be at your and your neighbor's doorstep this Saturday?

  i would think that a portion of the non-jw population might be at church.

  i don't think there are any football games that day.

  what would you say or recommend to your non-jw neighbors?.

  I think it will be raining pretty hard here so I don't expect any of them to be out door knocking. But if any of them do venture out I would recommend that my neighbors politely inform them that it is Christmas day and it really isn't polite for them to be out peddling their antichristmas message on Christmas day. If they brought up their false date message I would recommend that they point out that no one has more false dates than the Witnesses. I would also mention that non JWs have enjoyed 136 Christmases since 1874, the year the Watchtower orignally claimed was they year of Christ't return and 35 since their 1975 prediction. I would tell them to recommend to the JW that they might want to rethink their faith in the WTB&T Society. Enjoying Chirstmas is only one small example of what they are missing out on because of their faith in an organization that never seems to get anything right.

  I'll have to see if I can get Old Tom around here. They just opened a Total Wine & More by me and they carry a lot of different beers. I'll have to see if they carry it. I was looking forward to going to Great Basin Brewery in Sparks Nevada last week and having several glasses of their Old Fitz Bourbon Stout (7.7%) but had to cancel my trip.

  Why do JW's only pick on Birthdays, Holidays, when so many other things are pagan

  i've always wondered this, and with the holidays coming up, why does the watchtower only pick on certain things, and leave other things to question, or to the conscience?.
